Microorganisms are an essential fraction of soil organic matter, which presence and activity depend directly on physical conditions. This study aimed to address the effect temperature moisture under contrasting macroporosity conditions biological properties. Soil physical-chemical characterization implicated collection composite samples undisturbed surface (0 10 cm). Also, were extracted in 40 polyvinyl chloride cylinders 18 cm diameter 20 height for arrangement mesocosm as experimental units a completely randomized experiment with 2x2x3 factorial arrangement. The duration was 21 days, properties measured microbial biomass (MB) respiration (SR). Macroporosity showed significant MB, indicates that aeration pore influences number microorganisms soil; SR, had not effect. at ranges established did significantly affect whereas highly over SR observed. A observed MB SR. Macroporosity, moisture, determining factors microorganisms, both through interaction between them. Herein have wide range thermal adaptation, can boost microorganisms. In turn, it present sensitive deficit soil.
